VS3235 vs Rolex 3235

I recently was blessed to be able to purchase a gen 126610LV after owning the VSF rep as well as many other reps. Can anyone with watchmaking experience explain why the second hand moves when setting the time on my genuine 126610LV with the 3235 movement? If I rotate the minute hand past my preferred time and then backwards the second hand jumps about half a second. This has never occurred on any of the 5 reps I’ve owned. Reading on Rolex forums and Reddit, it seems this is common and normal. Is there something about a higher end movement that makes this happen? Thanks!

Bump just because I’m genuinely very curious.

You’re not understanding the issue I described. Yes, the seconds hand stops when I set the time. What I’m describing is that the second hand jumps forward or backwards about half a second if I rotate the minute hand forwards then backwards when setting the time. Whether or not that’s okay to do or not, then second hand hasn’t moved on any of my other rep or gen watches with mechanical movements. I’m curious as to why this is normal for a modern COSC Rolex movement.

Happens on my gen sub 3230 and my clean explorer 3231, doesn’t happen on my dj41 mostly gen parts and gen planet ocean 8800 don’t care to check any more. Design I would say bought my sub in 2020… never noticed.
