Hi,

Are there any instructions on how to align a date wheel on a 3135?

Can it simply be nudged with a toothpick, or should the date wheel be taken off and placed back on?
I think the 3135 has an easy screw you just twist to take the datewheel off, but I'm not sure if that is enough to recenter it.

Thank you!

There's no adjustment for the datewheel. I doubt nudging it or reinstalling is going to change anything. This is a common problem/complaint with clone movements. Maybe a gen datewheel is a solution, but even that won't help if the dial feet weren't attached accurately.

I had an issue with one where there date jumper had not enough tension so it would make the date crooked. I very very very gently manipulated the spring to add more tension and that fixed it for my case.

If it is misaligned for all the numbers by a small amount they it may be possible to shift the position of the movement (and therefore, datewheel) relative to the dial. This is done by bending of the dial feet. Dial feet are easily bent but have a thinner portion just before the dial, so bending them too much can break them so go easy. It worked for me. Here is how it looked after adjustment (left) and before (right):

Thanks for this tip.
My misalignment is about similar to yours, so this might be possible.
I will check my dial/movement and see how much play it has.
