It’s the same mainplate, but you need quite a few parts that differ from the 3135 on the dial side of the movement.
Could be done but will need some gen parts.
Also check out phfactor.net/wtf in the Rolex directory to gain an understanding of the parts you would need to convert a 3135 to 3155.

Are there similarities between the 3135 and 3156?
A custom build DDII is a dream of many I can imagine
Tickleshoes helped me convert my vr3135 into a franken 3155
thank you kind sir! And btw that date just Franken I got from you is still running strong! Great build.
Great to hear that, R.!
Hope you are well and never let it go! (because gen 16000 case sets are getting more and more expensive now)
Bp 11823x models work for me, except I am not sure if they are discontinued and caseback modification is neededCan I ask what case did you put your 3155 movement into?
Interesting! I have a bpf 128239, but since they use the same 2836 maybe it will work. I messaged that eBay seller that you linked me to in my thread, he unfortunately wasn’t able to help.Bp 11823x models work for me, except I am not sure if they are discontinued and caseback modification is needed
Simply dremel away enough material so that the 3155 movement's rotor can spin freelyCan you elaborate on the caseback mod?
