to check if it's waterproof, you can take out the movement, reseal the back and then take it in the shower or the pool or whatever. if it leaks, then it's not. if it doesn't, then it is. i'm not responsible for any results however. this way saves you a movement if it doesn't work. LOL.

just recived mine today, does anyone know if these are water proof? (111h)

Assume that the watch is NOT waterproof unless told otherwise. These are REPs and the seals aren't always intact. My 2c on the subject.

i'll pass, but how much would a gen of this cost?
is the band 24mm?

The band is 24mm. This is measured at the lugs. You can get straps with 24mm at the buckle or 22mm at the buckle. I prefer 24/24 myself, but most of the OEM style straps are 24/22. Once you start buying straps, there's no stopping. I think I have 30 straps for each of my PAMs

According to the latest published retail prices here:

The 111H retails for $4400. Street prices may vary, but you won't find much discounting with PAMs

Damn... 111 is $4400 now? I remember seeing for for like 3.6K... inflation

@ lexxdiamondz

The watch is "advertised" as "water resistent" - but one of our dealers, EL, is quoted to have said "It's good for 100m dash run in the rain" or something like that  On the other hand, you can probably search for older posts where some of our members succesfully tested their PAMs for various & unique methods of testing water resistency.

I would never try this myself, and don't really care if it is waterproof, as long as water doesn't get in the watch when I wash my hands. I do not wear it to swim or shower.

@pbus...if i had one i would.
im sorry, didnt know that :(

Its like:

40mm case : 22mm lugs
44mm case : 24mm lugs
47mm case : 26mm lugs

and I dont know if there are any excuses from that, im still no THAT kind of expert

best way to check if its really waterproffed on your own is to uncase, take movement out, case again, check if the crown and CG sitts tight and put it in water. If there are no bubbles You may assume that you can take a shover with your Pam :)
Another option is a watchsmith. It costs more than Your time, but works better for sure.
