I'm doing a franken 1655. I bought the Yuki dial, but you MFers have made me too nit picky. So now I'm looking at the MK3 rail dial on MQ site.
Yes, I know the dial feet won't fit on my 2836.
My question is, how is his quality? Are his dials the exact same in person as they are on his site?
Are they 99+% perfect?
I ask because the flaw on the Yuki really bothers me.
At 3x the cost of the Yuki, I'd rather ask before I buy.
Thanks in advance guys!

I've never been impressed by Yukis' dials - you get what you pay for - Yuki dials are cheap and cheerful... Ming Quy dials are far far better.
If this is a serious build, don't waste your time with Yuki.

To late lol. You see I already have one. I'll sell it M2M and get the MQ if they're better in person than the yuki

I have been looking at this one for ages. Ages. Coronet is kinda messed up on this one, but this is the dial I want. Always afraid to email for the price.
Curious what everyone thinks of MQ versus Tonnywatches and the couple of American based sellers on eBay with redials. Have you looked at those guys Dr. Mike ?

I haven't. Can you either post or PM some sites or stores? I'll take a look.
The ones I see (so far) on eBay aren't correct.
The flaw in the coronet on the MK3 dial for the 1655 is correct. The right side of the crown has a flaw.

Email him - whats he gonna do ? bite you? His dials are around the $300 - $400 mark - true gilt will be more expensive than a 5513 dial for example.

Yukis gilt 1675 is not too bad - if he remembered to top up the ink in his printer...

Ming & Phong are the only ones making a vaguely correct 1655 dial ( possibly NDTrading but his site is annoying... )

I believe you. But you really need to stop exaggerating - I've told you this a hundred times.
