Vintage strap on a submersible..?

I put this vintage strap on my 243 last night and kind of liking the look of it. Although, the submersibles should have water proofed straps and a more modern look to them as they are contemporary models.

What is your opinion..?

Not at all....

It is a Kaktus Vintage 1945...

The strap was built like a tank. Not the softest leather but I like it.

Yep, looks good. It's really no different wearing that strap on your Sub than it is on nearly any other PAM. The gens are all good for 100m at least, most of them 300m and some of them 2500m. If you're not jumping in the pool that day, I'd rock that strap with no problems.

I prefer vintage/ammo strap with submersible over modern look, although it looks really nice on rubber too. ...Here is mine 243 on ted's ammo (seller on paneristi forum)

Looking good there guys, I think it suits the watch perfectly. I for one would much rather wear my subs with leather straps.

Very, very nice combo I wouldn't hesitate to mount a nice thick vintage strap on a Sub good balance for the thicker case IMHO.

I like the color of the leather, however I am a stitch fanatic. I would have preferred to see it with black or a dark brown stitching. Even a dark gold would have made it look 100 times better. But as to if a submersible should have vintage, that is up to the owner. If you like it, that's all that matters.

Hi there, i use the legend MP black from strap culture on my sub. Killer strap on a killer watch! Unfortunately no pics yet to post. This watch amazes me every time i wear it, it is so damn good looking and one of a kind watch. Never gonna sell it...
