I present you today my new build 1956 6152/1 Marina Militare Dial (SMZ) DESTRO watch.

Genuine MM Destro:

Details about the build and parts:

CASE:
Nightwatch– no filings, no “battle” scars… Stem tube is soldered to the case like in old days. Pantograph Engraved between both lugs and case back seal ring is applied underneath the case back. Case was polished. Also, T25 Plexi is installed.

CROWN GUARD:
Nightwatchwith “BREV ITAL” engravings.

** I will add a number to the CG when I receive the 1mm Steel Numeric punch Stamps**

DIAL:
Nightwatch– 2mm, 37mm MARINA MILITARE 3 piece dial. Engravings are filled with white out paint and then excess paint was removed with paint thinner. Clear resin and NW Super lume was applied also by me.

HANDS:
Nightwatch- tall tube wide hands with lume.

MOVEMENT:
Cortebert 620– needed to manufacture new movement holder to have a perfect fit into NW case. Movement was taken apart, cleaned and oiled.
NW case comes with 1.5mm Crown to fit Cort. 616 winding stems, but I needed to purchase Athaya Crown(1.2) in this project because Cort 620 winding stem is 1.2mm in diameter.

CASEBACK:
Display OPB case back with dome plexi.

STRAP:
Manifatture Serioso collection. I don’t know the name of the strap (I chose the pic and sent it to him J). Strap comes with brushed Stainless Steel Buckle with “GPF – Mod Def” engravings. It’s amazing, light and comfortable to wear. MS also made a 6152/1 box for the watch.

Thank you for looking and on to the next project.
Cheers!
