Well... I'm ashamed to say that I bid before posting this question - but I may not win any of the watches anyway.
I am very interested in gen vintage watches, particularly German and Russian WWII era. There seems to be quite a bit to choose from, some with new or reconditioned faces, but all say original movement and serviced/running.
Any general guidelines on these? Are there just a ton of vintagized reps and I'm more likely to be ripped off than not, or do these old watches tend to be real more often than not?
