I saw this thread on a forum of "only gen watches" (if you say something about reps they kick you off haha) and I thought it would be nice to share here with you.
Some people here know more about watches (movements, history, and everything) than all those lucky rich people who only worry about being on the waiting list to get their brand new limited edition model and after all they know nothing about what they are buying..
in fact, on the forum I saw this thread, most people were asking and were surprised about a vintage Pam having a Rolex movement!!!:facepalm: I think everyone here know that Rolex made the movement and Panerai made the cases for the italian marina militare..
Well... after the "intro" I leave you with this great thread ( I quoted it all because it's not my work.. So sorry for the spanish but it doesn't say anything so important that needs to be translated... )

Hoy os presento un vintage de la marca Panerai: un Marina Militare de la década de los 50's.
El reloj fue fabricado para la Armada Italiana. La tapa posterior del reloj presenta una serie de referencias relativas a la condición militar del reloj.
De estos relojes bien se puede decir que son relojes Rolex "disfrazados" bajo una apariencia que resulta extraordinariamente cool en la actualidad.
Muchos elementos de este ejemplar son Rolex, incluÃdo el movimiento.
