Some quick history behind this movement. It dates to the 1920’s and was either in a men’s wristwatch or a women’s pendant watch. It is 10 1/2’’’ which is very small for a men’s wristwatch by todays standards.
The bridges were customarily stamped with the last digits from the serial. As you can see some bridges are stamped 5, and others 77. The movement serial from Bulova doesn’t match either. The movement number on the dial side matches 77 from the ebauche FF.
I have two theories, one it’s a mix and match movement, which is the most likely explanation, OR when Bulova got these movements they replaced the balance wheel, and closest bridges in the factory to match their specifications. One issue with this theory is that the balance wheel is normally marked as well, and this one has no markings. Guess it’s a mystery.
