Hey guys so I have been researching a lot about vintage divers, skin divers, and everything about la creme de la creme of old diver watches and it seems that I always end up reading about the great Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. Being a Diver watch addict I must say there is distinct simple elegance on the way Fifty Fathoms watches where made. The beautiful design and strong construction make this model an attractive and elegant timepiece.

Another thing I really like about the vintage BFF is that it would go completely unnoticed in a dinner or a fancy party by all the Rolex, Omega, Breitling or IWC snubs until someone that really knows about watches sees it on you wrist, total conversation starter!

I'm currently talking with DSN (Davidsen) to build a vintage Fifty Fathoms Milspec. I will post pictures once I get it from him.

Please enjoy the pictures and excuse my english and my spelling, english is not my native language.

Yep, I'm totally with you on this. I just love the early FF. Those pics are great!
In my collection I have a MKII Stingray homage which is like the '53 model FF I think. It's the favourite watch I own.
It's as close as I'm likely to get to the real deal and I'm not scared to wear it daily like I would be if ever I owned a vintage FF.

Would you please post a picture of your watch?

Indeed it is. This was a USA rebranded navy issue watch.
