Vintage 300 project.

Im going to do a super franken project for a vintage seamaster 300 date (166.024)

I have sourced following gen parts:
Omega 565 movement
Caseback
Plexi crystal
Dial
Crown and tube
Hands
Omega Clasp for mesh
Black datering

The two things i need is case and a good mesh.
Gen case is $1400 with VAT at cousins uk so thats not an option.
It have to be the right size 40mm and 13mm thick with 20mm lugs.

Also the gen mesh is to expensive and i want a quality mesh up to $100 thats fit the gen clasp.

All help with the case and mesh options that are available are very wellcome.

I'd like to do the same project but I was waiting to find a case first since all of the other parts are readily available. Yuki's case set is discontinued. The cartel case and bezel just doesn't look quite right to me.

Cousins used to sell that case for a reasonable price but at 1400 pounds they are just telling people to forget it.

I've actually noticed that true vintage Seamaster 300s sell for less on ebay than the sparkling brand new Seamaster 300s built of NOS parts.
