I know many members swear by loctite and many say they don't care to use it for various reasons. Either way I think I have found a superior product for watch applications.
Vibra-tite Vc3 was originally brought to my attention by a scope mount company named American Defense Mfg. They will not warranty any mounts that use loctite and recommend Vc3 due to its shock absorbing abilities. It comes out looking just like any thread locker but is air activated and begins to set in to a silicone like gasket. I believe it works better for bracelet applications since it begins to cure instantly and is reusable if you switch straps often.
