VH31A stem removal

I feel kinda dumb right now so thought I might ask for help...

How do I remove the stem from this movement? I can't for the life of me find the area to depress. The tech specs act like there might be a button but am unable to locate...

It says Push on the plate with an arrow. Push there and pull the crown.
