Curious if anyone from the area knows any watchsmiths that work on replicas. Would like to keep it local if possible and not deal with shipping it around. Would also be willing to find someone in the Seattle and north area of Washington state.

Thanks fellas!

What repair has he done for you? I visit Vancity couple of times a year. Would like to know how much he charges for a complete movement service. Can you find out? Thanks in advance!

I haven't actually checked a watch in yet so I'm not sure on the pricing. But from judging from the couple dozen reviews on google and yelp, he's a LOT cheaper than other corporate shops etc.

You can contact him on yelp or phone!

Interest to hear some feedback if he does good work and more importantly will work on 7750 repairs because the german watchsmith won't touch that anymore. How do you know he'll work on reps? Might check him out. Thanks.

All the feedbacks are basically of him changing batteries so I'm not too sure how good he is in actually fixing mechanical movements.

I'm across the country anyway, but I'm just curious how watchsmiths react when you ask them if they're rep friendly. What did you say/ask and how did he respond?

Was it like a "uhh suuuuuure..." or "of course!" or something else?

I just asked if he would be willing to work on a replica watch with an asian made movement.
And he said "I'm willing to work on any type of watch you have, genuine or otherwise... when you're ready, come check it in and ill see what we are working with!"

He didn't seem off about it or anything... my guess is he works on them on the reg.

I just dropped off a Zenith Pilot with 2836 I got from m2m. Unlucky, can wind but can't engage to set time, wore less than 5 times.

No problems taking in the watch. Told him it's replica. Needs to take out movement to troubleshoot. Mentions the watch is very nicely done but not sure he can find parts for Asian movement.
I'll update when he gets back to me.

Update, got my watch back, the yoke was broken and replaced with a Swiss part. Damage was $140.
