Haven't seen a topic about it here - does anyone own it? Can anyone speak to the quality of the movement? I'm concerned about the long-term quality of this (5-10 years). The movement looks good, and I like the mechanical movement, but I haven't seen a good dialogue around this watch in particular on this forum. Any thoughts? Also, is the cream dial a "fantasy version"? I can only find the white on the gen website: http://www.vacheron-constantin.com/...ction excellence platine-89000-000P-9843.html

The dial doesn't have the shimmery effect of the gen, but the Seagull Tourbillon is a pretty good movement. Be careful of overwinding which makes the movement seize up -- other than that, its pretty reliable. Anything will last if you take care of it, but worst case scenario, you have to replace the movement and these aren't cheap, but available.

I've got this recently few weeks ago. Its a freakin beauty and the rep strap is real croc and real soft and comfy. Go for it. The RG is more closer to the gen.

Movement is also dead accurate for me. Hasnt gained a single bit for over 2 weeks continuous running.

Hey man, mind letting me know the lug size and the deployant width when you get the watch? Considering buying this watch and whether it is able to take an old strap of mine is the only thing holding me back! [emoji23]

peterpl, this watch is absolutely gorgeous - perfect design for a tourbillon.

I think a tourbi dial should be very clean, minimal so not to distract from the tourbillon which should be the focus.

hello, how's the RG watch holding up? I'm thinking about buying the rg version but I'm afraid that it will fade fast. and yes, this watch is a beauty!
