V6F Santos Medium Custom Strap Review

Hello RWI Cartier fans,

One of our fellow Cartier fans reached out to me and asked about my custom strap from @donerix
I took few photos and sent him photos but what the heck, I want to share with everyone.

I asked donerix the black croc belly leather strap with black stitches. (Belly parts have bigger and rectangular patterns compared to other parts such as the tail)

The quality of the leather is fabulous. The strap is soft and has the natural shine, unlike the rep strap. My gf told me the rep strap looks like a burned beef jerky. haha then I knew it was time to invest some money in the custom strap.

To summarize, the custom strap for Santos model (or buying gen strap) is a MUST in my opinion, because it makes the entire watch looks so much more high quality and elegant.

FYI, I have 6.5 inches wrist and medium size looks elegant on my wrist. I often like to dress up (suit/sportscoat) and this watch complements with my outfit very well.

I got this watch earlier this year and keeps the very accurate time. It is V6F watch with the Seiko NH05A movement.
Watch itself is from our TD, Intime (@ryanwayer) - is very helpful in terms of service and communication. My go-to TD.

Hi mate, I saw some of your Cartier watches too! I know you are a fellow Cartier fan. Nice to meet you.
Sure. Hope I am not violating forum rule.

I paid $129 + $10 shipping. However, I had to send my rep strap first because the existing strap was used as a donor for the plastic inserts inside the strap for the new strap.

It took approximately 4 weeks from the first email I sent him.

I agree 100%. I think I might get another custom strap for Ballon Bleu in the future too.
