in the pictures, it's hard to see the ar, but in real life, you can see the crystal difference..i mean just look at the edge, the clarity is different, color aside..you can see this on all the ''v2'' pics..it's just not as clear..it also tapers a bit differently, you can see this from the reflection of the markers on the edge...in addition, the ''v2'' crystal does not have the defined purple diffraction/reflection in the crystal..
no doubt both are good reps...the ''v2'' bezel font can be argued it's closer to gen..gen is really in the middle of both of them, but then again, that also depends on the angle you're looking at...
color aside, assembly quality, my particular v1 feels more solid than the newer release...on the blue, the bezel rocks, the black is solid..
