I was thinking about looking for and using a local engraver to put the missing serial numbers on a titanium caseback and a 250 caseback. I'd probably try to get the H series style of engraving. Has anyone had this done before? How did it turn out, and do you have pics?

Thx

The titanium engraving is not so simple. On the SS, it turns out OK. Some members did a customised 195 caseback.

I figured the ti one may be a problem, I understand DSN uses "acid etching" on his ti case backs.

Do you know if those members, who did the custom backs, ever posted pictures?

There are places doing laser engraving that can engrave, give a bead blasted effect and even color the steel in a couple passes.
Search your local area for laser engraving.

Good idea, thanks. I think the bead blasted look is pretty much how those serial numbers are.
