So this dude with 0 posts messaged me about my YM I'm selling and later into the convo, calls himself Ryan and later on asks me to send him a text. I googled the number out of curiosity, I see a gumtree ad selling a 'Rolex date just day date Gmt yachtmaster submariner' for £4,000.

In PM when I asked him about him 0 posts etc. he stated he had just bought a franken datejust from a member over on RepGeek.

The below sales ad on Gumtree was posted 6 days ago which has the same mobile number he quoted to me in PM but is under the name Andrew instead. Coincidence? I smell something fishy.

Screenshots includes 2 snippets from PM's with reference to the above and incase that ad gets pulled (yes I drew over my name as it's RWI and all - will forward onto mods unmasked if asked)

Yup. The snippets of the convo is him who messaged me on here regarding my YM. Just sometbing way too fishy about this dude. Don't know who to report on RG and other sites in case he pulls what looks like a trick of buying franken watch and then reselling as if real/huge markup on them.

Will wait and see what IRolexU says on RG if he sold his superfranken blue Roman numeral date just for $1750 I think but I smell major BS

He has the same profile on the Geek. No posts but no feedback as well although I'm fairly certain his data wasn't wiped. Again, still investigating.

So I found out he works for a cleaning company called 'GleamTeam NW' and lives in Prestatyn, North Wales. Also found an old advert on gumtree by him from 105 days ago - hard to tell if gen but the roulette DW looks off-centered?

Has ignored my PM's where I've called him out, defo seems fishy. GL with the investigation
