What a stupid I am!
I ordered a pair of cg screws from a site recommended by one of the members. They finally arrived, so I immediately tried to screw my CG back on.
After getting one side screwed in, it picked up the second screw with the tweezers and put it in the hole. After about 5 minutes of not being able to get the screw in the hole, I took the cg out and screw in the screws w/out the cg on to make sure they fit. They did.
I put on the cg again and screwed in the first side. Then, the exact same thing happened with the other side!
I was about to give up and inform the company that they sent me the wrong size screw and would demand my money back as I paid such n exorbitant price for the pair of tiny screws...$5!(LOL) As I removed the cg, I looked at it under a loupe and I noticed that there was something in the hole where the screw wouldn't screw in.
I poked it out with the other end of my springbar remover.
It was the original screw that I thought I lost!
Apparently it got stuck because of the Loctite I had used. I cleaned it and screwed it in...perfect!!
I am happy to report that this idiot of a watchmaker has his Slytech back on his wrist!!
