Urgent Advice Pls - Pam 212 Flyback Caseguard no good. (with pics)

Dear all,

I purchased a PAM 212 Flyback from Lay and when he sent me the QC pics (see Below) - I noticed that the caseguard pivot screw looked either off centered or non-exisitant. Lay has graciously offered a refund or change watch.

I really like this watch, and wonder if it is straightforward to buy a new caseguard and swapping it out? (Where and how much) Will anyone fit this? Or should I just pick another piece?

that is indeed messed up looking in the picture. I'd want to see some more angles.

the term is crown guard by the way, not case guard.

just ask him to find one without a messed up cg.

I am just convinced I have to greenlight Lay to send me this piece anyway and fix it myself. ( I did ask Lay about swapping, but apparent he doesn't)

I saw some link in here to a dealer that sells PAM CGs for 44mm case for $12 Bucks shipped? Anyone have a tutorial on how to swap the CGs?

This is my first rep and already I have a project on hand.

See how the seconds marks are oriented!!
(see Mambo's correct dial above!!)
I cannot believe that after 4 + years, they are still making this stupid error!!!
Even back 4 or 5 yeas ago, the Seagull ST-19 HW equipped models at least had the dial indices correctly marked!!

FYI, the PAM212 uses a different crown guard than a "normal" Luminor. I can't see the link, but if that's a normal Luminor CG, it likely will not fit....

luminor crown guard doesn't have the reg tm engraving, and this one needs to have a cutout for the crono pushers too, so a normal 1950 cg wont do either.
