Okay I have a problem and it seems that no one can answer it for me.If I purchase the Breitling Seawolf with the Yellow dial $380 USD and it comes with the black rubber strap just the way I like it and am willing to pay for it,Then why can`t the dealer put on the longer version strap for me.Supposedly it comes with the 125mmx85mm length. This will just barely fit my 8.5" wrist on the very last hole.I `ve been to the AD and tried on the Skyland so thats how I know all this.I also know that this particular dealer carries the 140mmx85mm strap so I don`t think it would be a big deal to put the longer strap on,if he wants the sale. But apperently this can`t be done because the dealer has no way of getting the strap and putting it on the watch before it goes out.I thought there was no drop shipping and that each watch is Qc`d before it leaves the dealer.I think it is just price gouging because I was told if I wanted the watch I would have to purchase it with the SS bracelet and buy the rubber one  Does this sound fair?

Well it would appear that the dealer is trying to tell you one of two things. Either this watch is being dropshipped, or he does not give a good damn if you buy it or not. I would guess it was the former. This has nothing to do with fair, this is just life. If it does not agree with you, you should express your displeasure by not giving him your money. I think you will find however that this will only severely limit your personal dealer list. Good luck.

Copperhead you started a thread exactly like this one two weeks ago over at RG and got a lot of responses. You stated that the Seawolf you wanted was on the website of one of the larger dealers there. I'm guessing either Josh or Andrew. If it is a dealer that drop ships the short answer is no they will not be able to swap straps for you because they never actually have either the watch or the strap. They are shipped to you by a third party (who drop ships for them).

Please let us know which dealer you are trying to order from and we can tell you if it's a dealer that drop ships.
