Hi,
I purchased my first UPO 45mm with Asian ETA.
When I wake up in the morning, it is always stopped.
I have to shake it a bit in order to start the watch.
Is this normal?

This is a very common problem...

Someone care to explain :)

Only because I dont remember why. I had this issue aswell and I think it had something to do with the keyless. I was stuck hand winding the watch all the time. I ended up swapping the movement.

If you wear it during the day it should keep on running. If you have no experience in the basics of movements you might go to a watch smith. If you have a little knowledge you could try to put a little bit of oil (better use less then to much) on the rotor bearing. Try to shake the watch gently, if you do not hear the rotor spin a few seconds after you stopped shaking it is an indication the bearing is to dry.
