Hello Members,

I would like to replace my Omega sea master rep Mineral crystal which measures 30.4mm x 1.5mm thick dome crystal with sapphire.

I only find 30.5mm dome sapphire crystal.
And how thick of a crystal can I go from 1.5mm on up ?

Thanks Ed

But is possible that your crystal is 30.4mm but that is not a problem, you can fix that replacing your actual gasket
You will need to take the gasket off and measure the diameter on the watch without the gasket
Do that and let us know

OK If your watch case diameter where the gasket is (Without the gasket) 31.3mm then it's indeed 30.5mm crystal
Then your gasket thickness side wall should be .40mm But if your crystal is 30.4mm your gasket should be .50mm
Thickness in the side wall. I have replaced a lot of crystals and I think I may have some spare gaskets, fell free
To contact me via pm, I can send you one free !
I can imagine that you have the watch crystal press to do that ?

So that means that you need a 0.45mm thick gasket I just checked and don't have in that thickness but
You can find that at esslinger.com part number 84.045-30.5 but this one is 0.90mm in height
If you figured out the crystal you bought is 30.5mm and the gasket is 0.45 each side=0.90mm
So 0.90mm+30.5mm=31.4mm
Before ordering it check your actual gasket height !
