Upgraded Davidsen 111H (post updated with Lume comparison)

The upgraded Davidsen 111H with a Palp crown and Manifatture Firenze Buffalo strap.
Lume's excellent, will try to take some pics of that later. Swiss movement finish is better than
my other reps (can't tell that from my pic), maybe got lucky this time.
Sorry for lousy pics, taken at work in a rush today.
New dial with better font will be available very soon according to Davidsen so that's a
needed swap.

I got the same one and mine, too, is so much nicer than the others I have - the ones from Andrew. I am not sure the lume is as good as I thought.

But I am hoping he can crank it up when I order another one from him!

I tested the lume by placing the Davidsen, a Gen Revue Thommen (Superlumina) and a Gen Marathon TSAR (Tritium) in front of the bathroom light for 1 min and then taking a pic in the dark 3 min later.
I have to say, I'm a bit dissapointed with my Marathon Tritium :?

Maybe sunlight will have different results, have to test that too later maybe.

Wow man, that Marathon should be burning your eyes - I would contact them ASAP... the 1/2 life on tritium is 12 years ...

Thats the nicest CG I have seen to date. Its perfect for a 111/112H & Pre-V. I just wish DSN would fix the fonts. The font is whats holding me back from buying one.

If I have to choose, I'd rather live with an improper CG (i.e. G-series) than then wrong dial font.

DSN, please fix the font! I know its holding a lot of people back form ordering one!
