Updated KW/V6F Submersible Case Set

I noticed that V6F has quietly updated their submersible cases with some positive changes. I realized this by comparing two V6F Pam569's, one from Jan 2015 and one from Jan 2016.

The most obvious change was how much slimmer the new case is, about 1mm. The Jan 2015 case was noticeably taller than my V6F Pam382, but this new Jan 2016 is the identical height.

Judging from the dealer pics, it appears this case was introduced with the new V6F Pam305.

You can see this height difference when viewing the case from the side. See how the 2015 crown is above the bottom of the case, but the 2016 crown actually goes below the bottom of the case (like the gen).

Also notice the nice bevelling/knurling on the lower portion of the bezel on the 2016 model that was not present on the 2015 model. Again, more like the gen.

Hopefully this new case will make it's way to other models that share the case. I suppose models like the Pam571/371/389 may be next.

Overall it may be minor changes but it gives the case a sleeker, thinner profile more accurate to gen.

I doubt the V6F Pam382 or Pam508 will change, both of those cases are unique and already pretty accurate to gen.

The cases more likely to be updated would be the Ti Subs like 371/571 and possibly 389, although the 389 case is shaped differently.

This is a very nice catch

As far as I know PAM 371 and new 305 have already the new case. PAM 382 and PAM 508 have a similar case to the new but a bit thicker
PAM 389, as above commented has a different case with less squared cushion shape
PAM 571 has still ON catalogues the old case

Hi, does anyone know if the 571 has gotten this slimmer case yet? I have been wanting that watch for a long time, but don't really want much "fatter" case than just around 16mm.

Good thread. So many got a new 571 with updated Bezel and old case. Trust me. It's the old case. Transition period with KW. The bezel looks like ZF and is suppose to be a KW.

Everyone has different taste, as I kinda like the beefier look older bezel, even though it's not correct.

I have a 571 setting in a Post Office all day that I cant' get too. It's a "Middle of NoWhere" tinny community PO that is only open from 8:30 til 10 AM. And it's a ways away. For what ever reason, it didn't show delivered until after 2: PM on usps tracking. Grrrrrrr!!!!

I'm on pins and needles here!!! :cry2:
