Hi Guys,

Was gong to pull the trigger on the PAM359 and saw somewhere that the P.9000 movement has been updated to read "SWISS MADE" instead of "MADE SWISS" somewhere but I cant find that thread.

Someone point me in the right direction? Not even sure if its on RWI or another forum.

I know the KW watch reads correct but wanted the NOOB version.

Cheers

The news was announced by Angus on RG. The version he's carrying is not from Noob, but from another maker. Noob hasn't made any 312, 359 yet.
The movt overall finish is not as good as KW imo, and I think many would agree.

Here's the pic, copy pasted from Angus' post.

I grabbed a KW 312 from another member (had it 2 days) and held it next to my buddies 386 (other maker "made swiss") version and there was no comparison. The KW just smokes it. (movement-wise). I am not thrilled with the AR on it... it is clear but it isnt very good either. the rest of the watch is great.

The coating on the 386 made swiss version was fairly purple in many spots. overall i think the Q.C. on the made swiss versions left a lot to be desired.

...in short i love the KW version, very happy with it.

Hmmm ok. thanks guys for the feedback.

I cant decide on the 312 or the 359. I guess its KW for now then.

I have the KW 359! I freaking love it! I put it on a bakeka strap now I just need a 24 mm buckle for it! Anyone knows where I can get one?

This the PT version which had a mistake MADE SWISS in the decoration instead of SWISS MADE.
The maker has finished the first stock and now have released a correct new batch of movements with the correct inscription. This is the only difference.

KW version is a different, nicer, more accurate and better finished decorated movement.

ALE,

I noticed, that there is a second difference, with KW and this PT version.
(i dont know if this maker had it correct from the beginning)

The CAL. 9000 is engraved in the correct direction, whereas in KW edition is inverted..in the wrong direction.

We have already commented this difference.

Since the movement gen and the rep are inverted, you can get two solutions to include CAL.9000 inscription in decoration.

1-Leave the position of the letters the same as gen and then number 9000 will remain in the placement opposite to the balance wheel. Solution of PT version.

2-Leave the position of 9000 near to the balance wheel, inverting the position of the letters. Solution of KW

I personally like the KW solution, but obviously many people will like more PT way. It is a taste matter

Hi ALE ,

ARE QC PICS allowed here of this movement?
I noticed some small details in engraving...that might be worth mentioning

Of course watch has already been accepted and delivered.

I dunno gran, while yes, compared to gen it is still inaccurate, its a heck of a lot better than the previous 7750 with PAM engraved rotor. I think it looks much nicer now don't you? We are a long ways away from a clone 9000 or 9001 but these do look really nice in person.
