I love the orange PO but do not know if I want the 42.5 or 45mm version. I currently have a 44mm Pam and a 46mm Breitling. I do wear those watches well even thought they are a little on the big side. so the size is not a problem. Oh decisions.

Easy, Just go down to a AD and try both on, it will be a easy desicion...I will lay money on you wanting the 45mm PO...it is a very sweet watch!

Neb,

I was going to do that tomorrow. Nothing better than a day trying on watches. I think I am leaning toward the 45.

I tried on the 42 and the 45 last night at an AD.

Funny thing about it, the black bezel looks smaller in person than the orange bezel. I tried on both sizes in each color and the orange bezel just looks and feels bigger than the black. The black 42 especially looks small, not so much the case, but the dial looks really small.

I decided the 45 would be best.

45 all the way... the 42.5 PO fits a little small (like a sub)... just my opinion

The 42.5 mm version is heavy enough. The 45mm almost looks like a comedy prop IMHO. Definitely looks more "fake" than the classier 42.5mm.

YMMV.

Once you have had the 44mm Panerai on I guarantee you won't be happy with the 42mm PO. It looks way small in comparison. I have the 45.5mm and that one even seemms small to me. But I do like it as a change once in a while. Good luck with the one you choose. :)

Went to the AD today, and it is 45 all the way. What a watch.

Each to his own...

IMO watch size does not represent masculinity. It's a personal preference.

I went for the 45.5

Ever since I put on a 44mm pam (111/177) I can't stand smaller watches. even my gst makes me cringe at times...
