Not only does Nik do an incredible job, he is also a gentleman and a pleasure to converse with. He kindly welcomed me into his shop in Italy, served me an espresso, and showed me what the gold plating process consists of. This is one of the reasons this hobby is so much fun - when human beings of Nik's caliber share their knowledge and take time out of their day to help us with our projects.
