Sead has been a good dealer so far ...
I bougth few watches : Dssd and blue sub and deals were flawless

but I ordered a blue ceramic insert in Sept for my blue sub and after many mails and very few repons from Sead here what I receive after 2 months

an envelop with an broken insert. the plastic box was NOT protected at all and plastic box was broken so the insert !

I can accept that the risk is on the customer but as far as the product is not correctly protected and packed I consider that the seller DID NOT DO HIS JOB !

So I hope Sead will do something for me ?...

I'm sure he will do his best to sort you out but if you haven't already contacted him don't you think it might have been fairer to him to give him the chance to resolve the problem to your satisfaction before posting this?

Of course things get mashed up at times, I have had some problems with TDs here, but in my experience they always make amends :)

Don't want to be unfair with Sead and I said we had good transaction on the past ...
but this story on this insert last since mid august ... and I'm not gonna copy all the mails here ...

And finally this is very frustrating ! So hope he'll do his best !

I don't think Sead will risk his rep in few bucks worth insert.
I can understand your frustration, but keep calm and contact him, I'm sure he'll sort it out.

I've found with most dealers that getting parts is a pain.

To be fair to them, are they really going to use $10 of petrol to drive around the factories to find a $20 insert? I wouldn't expect them to, therefore, you'll probably going to have to wait until they're visiting the factory to get a watch and remember they need and extra insert. This will take more time than usual.

While this might explain the extra time it took you to get the insert, it doesn't explain it turning up broken.

I deal with Sead all the time and he is totally reliable. If you email him a picture of how the box was received and damaged, I'm sure he'll make good.

That's exactly why I never order a spare part alone, be it a clasp, an insert or else. I just wait till my next watch then order the spare I need. It always gone well.

I know inushuk, and I can tell you he's not the man who wants to make trouble to anyone.
He's usually a cool & calm guy.
I just suppose he's a bit disapointed and he just wants to mention that and nothing else. It's just bad luck for this time and I'm sure that both are going to find quickly the way to end this.

Not sure where your insert is coming from but he is going to BP Factory for me this week to get a watch and spare insert, so maybe he'll remember to get yours at the same time...

Sead will sort it, but I know it is frustrating to have to wait all over again!

Sad experience for You after waiting so long, but that box really got a hit on its way, bad luck and careless handling. Learned from this post never to order a fragile spare part alone. So thx and good luck, things will be sorted out and Sead needs some time to reply also.
