Unbranded PAM249 – Aliexpress

I have been lusting over a Calif Dial for years. They have always been sold out.
I’m contemplating pulling the trigger on this unbranded cheapie. Claiming to have the Seagull ST3600-1 I find this to be an OK purchase for 95 bucks .
I will order the black hands as they are closer to the GEN blue hands.

My question, do the case look fat and the dial markings too large ?

I just pulled the trigger on black hands & brown strap – will post pics when it arrives.

I would not consider this in comparison with any gen model, but in the absence of alternatives - I think everything is fine. If something is wrong, then in general, it looks proportional and aesthetically pleasing. I think that for this money, more is not needed.

I’m not advocating for Aliexpress cheapies but this was a pleasant surprise for under 100 bucks. I just ordered another one with blue hands. Even the strap is acceptable. I’m gonna vintage the strap up with shoe polish later. Keeps good time as well.

I just checked that mine was properly secured OOTG. I have not removed them. I will report back if any inconsistencies.

Lume is not great or long lasting.

That blue AR is actually quite pretty in real life(In pictures it look horrible).I got a 44mm luminor type from DHgate, I had ordered it before knowing anything about reps and factories and I was regretting the decision until it arrived. Was going to give it away to my brother for his birthday but I think I will keep it.
