Unable to adjust time on PAM574

Hi guys!

I just received a new PAM574 today and man it looks so sweet. It winds perfectly fine and seems to run fine; however, when I pull it to the second position to change the time, it just turns freely. I’ve tried locking the crown back in then unscrewing. Tried turning while moving it into the second position. It’s still just freely spinning.

I’ve emailed the TD and am awaiting a reply, but it’s likely the solution will be to send it back to China. I’m hoping to avoid that

Sounds like a keyless issue. I've seen issues like that even on gens. A watchmaker should be able to fix it. Do ask your TD first though (some won't allow it and require you to send it back, or some will allow it but cover repairs up to a certain amount only).

can be a nightmare shipping back to CN,...maybe the TD is willing to refund a part of the repair at a local watchmaker...as mysterio said, sounds like the keyless works

mysterio capice01 Thanks guys. I’m glad it seems more like a simpler issue than a rehaul the whole watch issue. Shipping back to CN does seem like a bit of a daunting task. I just got an email back from the TD asking for a video of the issue so I sent that. I’ll definitely be sure to ask if cover for some of the repair cost is a possibility.

A search on the internet will yield a lot of results, even on gen websites about the keyless being the usual suspect on the issue.
