Ultimate PAM212

Hi guys,

As you probably know, a new ultimate H-Factory version of PAM212 J has been released. http://www.1-pc8838.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=PN212J&x=0&y=0

Can the PAM212 experts please comment on this release?

To me it looks very good. There is something strange going on with the crystal, when comparing to the gen. Obviously the clarity will vary, because one is mineral and the gen is sapphire.

Is pretty much like the one before it...
Consensus is that the crystal is indeed mineral, primarily because production costs on a sapphire in that high domed shape is prohibitively high....
I have an older version with the mineral crystal, and truthfully, it's not a problem unless it eventually breaks...Mineral is basically just as transparent as sapphire, it's just less scratch resistant...
