Ultimate PAM ss deployant buckle

I have ordered few month ago a new Pam rubber strap with deployant buckle from one of our dealer.
I have discovered last week end that i have an allergy with the deployant buckle

I have the same with my ultimate sub, but nothing with my gen seiko with ss strap !!!!

So the problem seems to be really on the ss quality...

Then, the question : where can i find a real ss deployant buckle for my pam rubber .....

sounds like you have a nickel hypersensitivity
bad ss has more ni
I think the rep deployants are made in just one or two factories
you can try your luck or go gen and pay $$$

definitely sounds like an allergy to non-precious metals.

If you ever need a crown at a dentist make sure he/she uses a good lab with precious metals

Paint the inside of the clasp or bracelet with clear nail-varnish.

Last solution should be to buy a gen deployant buckle !!
Anybody has an idea of the price ??? Or dealer who has good quality one ...

+1.... had the same trouble when I was younger... seems to have gone away in the past year or so.

Try Strapped for Time and Timefactors for their Beck Deployants, not expensive at around $40.

take some benadril before wearing that buckle, hopefully the antihistamines will help the allergy and you won't have to spring for a gen. i can't wear Sterling silver without it.

It seems that there is not good ss REP deployant buckle , and then that i just have 2 possibilities :

1/ keep my actual buckle and use differents binding solutions each time i want to wear it ...
2/ Have a look on a gen buckle, only if the result is sure (not the case with a gen sub bracelet ... but the price is anyway forbidden), and if the price is not really expensive (do yoy have an idea on price ?)
