Ultimate PAM 82 (DSN)

Finally arrived! Loved the dial (incredible detail and texture), the case is ligth and looks good, engraving on the back is fine though still with the wrong font, lume is OK in color and brightness, but could be better.

Anyways... if you want to comment, feel free! Except on the lousy cellphone camera shots! :wink:

One thing that really, really annoys me (and I've got this exact same watch and dial being relumed by Vaccuum) is the font variances. The first generation had perfect font, but the lume was like this alien green. Then, he made a cosmetic upgrade to C1, but the font got all thin. Now, he's made it C1, and the font is BOLDER, but it's too close together. I just dont' get it.

Understand, it's a very nice watch, and like I said I have the same one, but that doesn't stop me from being a little frustrated.

Thanks for your compliments! Indeed it's a great watch and I really reccommend it.

To your comment Virginia, I've read about that same issue and I think the same. Somehow DSN is not standard... I guess he decides to upgrade dials but mixes the formats with old ones or such.... who knows?!

But like many have said before, in general the watch is great! And looking at those things might be anal.

I had issues with my DSN 082 dial and instead of sending it back. I had Vaccum swap it out with a spare one he had from a customer. I should be receiving it Saturday or Monday. It is a very beautiful piece.

Will try to get some pics. The new dial is just the replacement as the one that arrived on my watch had some paint/lume missing on some of the edges of the markers. You can't tell unless you examine the watch closely but was an eye sore. Fortunately Vaccum had a spare 082 dial with a perfect dial and he sold it to me and swapped out the old one instead. No relume just a swap..
