Overall it's a good watch but still needs some upgrading to make it a great watch. That is just my opinion. I enjoy modifying and upgrading watches to make them my own.

First off, in real life I've never seen a Fiddy. So, I'll be comparing it to the pictures of real Fiddies I've collected.

The E0117 casing is the best to this date with smaller casing dimension, making the edge of the casing at the north and south more closer to the bezel. Haha, I hope that makes sense but y'all know what I'm talking about. The finish on the crown guard is no so great. At the opening area for the crown I'm gonna have to file it down to make it more straight.

Printing on the dial is a beige color with a matte finish on the dial and the lume doesn't glow as bright as the hands. I will be switching the dial out with a different one I bought for this watch anyway. The reason behind this is the finish is not as matte, thicker top sandwich, brighter printing & the "1" at 12 is correct.

All in all it's an awesome watch. Most of you folks will be very pleased with this watch out of the box. Enjoy the pictures.

Addition before original post: The strap is the Legend line from Strap Culture. Legend HM Historic Brown #4 w/ Beige Stitch

Nice pictures. You just saved me from trying to post my crummy photos. I just got my Davidsen fiddy today!

Besides the watch being absolutely stunning - this blows me away - David emailed me my tracking # on Fri., I checked EMS and sure enough the watch went out Fri night. For the heck of it, when I got up Sun morning, I checked USPS - the watch was already in my home town post office - What the heck! Hong Kong to California in less than two days????

I couldn't believe it and I kid you not, no sooner did I close the USPS window on the computer than there was a ring at the front door - UFRIGGINMAZING - there it was HK to USA in less than 48hrs - and on Sunday no less - HOLY $H!T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now if the HKTan cracked black strap I ordered would come just as fast...

So Cal - Orange Co. - I was at fashion Island today and wore it into Traditional Jewelers (Panerai AD) Didn't take it off the wist, but when the salesperson said "What do we have there" I held it up to him and said "I am sure you have seen one o these before, a 127" He looked said "Nice watch, they are so rare. You got a nice one for sure"

I guess you could say it passed the test? He has seen me in the shop before and I have accompanied a good friend of mine to the same shop who bought two Panerai's from him so I guess he just figured it was legit.

It's the Legend line from Strap Culture. I got it 4 months ago when I ordered the watch. LOL

I think I paid $70 bucks for it. I got a prototype version before it was released.

DSN Ultimate is a winner

Greet pics ED - I got mine this week. No pics as yet.

I agree on the lume - the lume is not as bright as the hands, and not as bright as the C3 modded lume of my other Fiddy:

Overall though this watch is a bargain. I had $700-800 in mine even to get it to this level.

I'll be pulling the trigger on one next month! Can't wait!!!

BTW...evildee...How big is your wrist? This could help some potential buyers that are concerned about the Fiddy being too large for their wrists.

I must say I like it, still awaiting for mine to arrive (should be anytime soon).

The crystal distorts just fine, but we all know DSN sapphire is like that, so no changes in that department :)

The dial txt is peculiar in a good sense, it's actually the way first batch of gen Fiddys came as, it was more ivory/beige than white, and the crystal had much pronounced distorsion. The 'second' gen 127 batch came with much brighter white dial txt print and crystal with almost no distorsion noticeable.

It could be just my eyes or photos, but the edges sandwich cutouts look more rounder this time ?

Shame for the dial lume, if what you say it's true, not a biggie though.
I'll confirm in a day or so once I get mine.

All in all - one heck of a watch, IMO ! :D :D :D

cheers,
babola

damn that is one sexy pam, after seeing you pull the fiddy off on a less than 7 inch wrist is really inspiring, you think you could do a wrist shot of the fiddy and any regular 44mm pam, just want to see the difference.

thanks

Those pics are some beauties and the subject watch, the 127 fiddy has got to be one of the most glorious wrist watches ever made. It is just so...cool. 8)

Be pacent, isell188.

If you have emailed him he will get back to you, he may be busy.

He is well worth waiting for, I bought his ultimate fiddy at the start of the year and the other week it developed a fault, Emailed him, sent my watch and he gave me a tracking no for a new watch today.

He's a good guy and sells great watches thats why he's busy.

My 127 arrived two days ago. I am pleased. The crownguard is a little rough on the inner side though.

One thing that I belive people are too worried about is the lume. If the lume is brighter on the hands than on the dial, that will not matter often. When you come directly from outside, or has shined a lamp on the watch, then go into an all-black room, maybe then. But when exposed to ordinary light, I think the lume looks great. Even and nice between dial and hands.

Just my .02.

Take care folks!

Same on the crown guard for me and I agree with you on the lume.

It's an unbelievable watch!

The superlume to me makes it more enjoyable. For instance, when I enter a parking structure after driving in the day, the thing glows like it's radioactive. That puts a big smile on my face.
