Ultimate fiddy problem

I bought an ultimate fiddy with the e series movement. It developed a problem some months later and the dealer kindly took it back, had a look at it and then sent me another watch.

The watch turned up the other day and it looks great...........but........it has a problem.

It seems to make a additional clunking sound as well as the normal tick when the watch is in the upright position. If I turn it upside down the noise goes.

Im torn between contacting the dealer again and having the movement serviced.

Has anyone any idea of the cost of servicing the e series?

I presume a service would unearth the cause of the fault.

Any input would be appreciated.

Cheers Guys.

sounds like the pallet bridge screws may be loose or the balance staff could be broken from shipping...happens. either way it's a simple fix.

actually of it goes away when its upside down than the balance staff is for sure broken or the shock protection is stuck... still......easy fix. i would ask the dealer to pay the repair.

As F.Flav said... should be an easy fix....

If your dealer is overseas... keep the watch in country and get it fixed here on the dealers tab... much easier than running the customs risk four more times (outbound to dealer, inbound to dealer, outbound to you, inbound to you)....

A broken watch in hand is worth two (or more) in customs hands.... I'd get it fixed locally if at all possible.
