There was once a dealer that carried these...

I even saw one that was double-sided and opened both the 44mm and 47mm cases!

Who has one? Where did you get it? How much did you pay? Are these still available at a "reasonable" price?

Thanks in advance for your input! :D

You're right, DSN had Aluminium made ones on offer some time ago last year.

This is his 'Version 2', it comes in S/S, and should be still available:

It doesn't come cheap but build quality is excellent. It doesn't scratch your caseback too.

The duct tape method doesn't work all the time. Some properly closed case back won't open with this duct tape. It's best to use a proper tool, tailored specifically for the watch.

The duct tape method doesn't work all the time.

It works 95% of the time. If it's on too tight, no good. There is a reccomended torque setting for casebacks. Too tight , the seal may not be seated properly and leaks could occur.Too loss, well you guessed it it will leak under pressure. I learned whr I apprenticed not to snug down any caseback like a gorilla. It's a feel.

This is what I "actually" use for "odd" cases

Thanks for all the replies...Just for kicks, I'm going to try the "Ball-O-Tape" method, but I'm also going buy one of these wrenches. 8)

Josh/PerfectClone has these tools for 44, 45 and 47mm PAMs. Look under Panerai "Accessories".
