Knowingly, I am not as well seasoned as some others here....but I am looking for an ultimate pam111. I had a Pam111 that I sold, that was an older model and the face just looked a bit too bif for my small wrist. I think this was due to the case shape and the bezel not being thick enough?..

What do you think of this 111J : http://www.puretimewatch.com/product/pam111j-11-best-edition-on-rubber-strap/

And this 111M : http://www.puretimewatch.com/product/pam111-m-11-ultimate-edition-on-oem-black-rubber-strap/

What's the difference??

Thanks!

if im not mistaken the only difference seems to be the movement... the 111m has the platinum plated movement.

111j vs 111m Hi beat vs low beat , standard rep lume vs c1+c3 super lume , blueish ar vs clear ar . I guess you'll need alittle bit of modding with the 111j .

Interesting. Okay, thanks. Would you think this 111M is a good one at this price?

Thanks

what is the reason for the 111m using a low beat movement?

I see them both at 208... But the J doesn't have superlume en the nice crystal. If the 111m would have the good movement as well it would have been a lot more.

Get the 111m. Very little modding needed to make it 99% perfect. The crystal and lume are not ideal on the 111j.

This is a no brainer IMHO.

The H-factory low beat seems to have a much higher failure rate than other movements. But when it works, it should work flawlessly as well as the other 6497s. I cant comment on the loudness as I dont own one myself.

The loudness is tolerable, and not an issue imho. I actually like to hear my watches tick, but that's just me....

the movement in my 111m is a quiet one. I guess H-factory has an old stock of low-beat movements and what they do is to replace bridges with new "platinum plated" ones. During this process some movements can be left not properly assembled. Anyway, those ones which work - should work without problems.

I checked all the screws - all were ok. No problems so far, keeps +1/+3 secs a day.

Hey guys I'm pretty new around here and the 111m caught my eye. What I don't understand is; with all the QC pics and process, why don't they make sure it works before it leaves? how can they end up DOA?

and a watch ticking so loud it's "annoying" Never seen that before. is that a big giveaway it's not a gen?

other than the questionable movement, these look awesome!

to monger: if you buy from trusted dealers the chances of DOA are smaller. It looks like dealers are not the ones who actually ships the watch - it is done by third party or even by factory somehow. If the dealer is respected one - chances the "third party" will pay more attention while checking the watch.

Loud tick depends on movement and case construction at the same time. It is not exactly giveaway :) Lower beat - bigger balance wheel - louder tick.
