After having built an amazing modded Yachtmaster ii for me, and having such a good rep for AP work - I approached @legend the Modder to build me a Blue Faced AP 15400 - which he completed at the end of 2021.
ZF Blue Dial 15400 w/ Miyota 9015 movement sourced by Legend = $488
Movement Silence $90
Case / Bracelet bevel and polish $160
Rebrush bezel, case and bracelet to gen Royal Oak spec $220
Bezel screws align/polish $90
Total $1,048
In Sept 2022 the movement stopped. So I sent it back to Legend and he did the following:
Movement Service $220
Rusted second gear replacement $30
Total $250
Worked like a charm from then on - until a year ago when the same thing happened - it just stopped. At the time I couldn’t face another $250 investment - nor sending it back to Asia for months. So it went in a drawer and was forgotten about.
I am currently having a purge though, and coincidentally now have a UK based modder @Tristenjlee doing amazing things - so I sent it off to him to look at - and we agreed a totally new Miyota 9015 movement was the way forward.
New Movement = £60
Labour (exchange of movement dress plate, exchange of date wheel. Complete exchange of movement and calibration = £90
Total £150.
So invested in this watch up until this point $1,500 / £1,110
I’m willing to soak up all the additional work after the original build and the brand new movement installed last week - and even take a slight hit on the original price of the build ($1,048 / £775).
So it is up for sale at £700 plus postage - no offers.
It'll come with protector and the AP box as seen in last pic.
As with other sales - would like to think I am well enough known to be trusted with Paypal F&F - but also super cool with doing it the traditional Paypal way - though I would then be asking the buyer to pay the extra PP fees.
Will be bomb-proof packed etc etc.

I am only asking £700 for a build that is indistinguishable (to me) from the gen, with the hallmarks of two very good modders to boot.....Grab yourself bargain!!
