Really? So you mean you can sell a rep Rolex on ebay without any problem as long as stated it as aftermarket watch fitted with all aftermarket parts and movement?
Good point. I think it's safe to say people know it's a replica clasp. The word "aftermarket" is used so it can be sold on ebay.
How does one differentiate between aftermarket and rep? For example, is this dial (also sold on ebay) aftermarket or rep? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dial-30mm-Pink-Custom-Diamond-White-Gold-for-Rolex-Datejust-II-Mens-Watch-/140740924857?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item20c4d015b9
You guys are correct that this item does not fall within what is allowed to be sold on e-bay. My question is why does anyone care? I firmly believe that we should always report replicas that someone is trying to sell as genuine to some unsuspecting sap. But if someone wants to list a watch, a part or a strap with the trademarked name all over it and states it is not genuine, that is between them and e-bay or the OEM to hash out. I am not the watch industry or e-bay police. This is not a scam, this is someone either not knowing better or not giving a crap. No harm done.
