Alas, the screw has been lost to foot traffic/garden knomes. I have looked in the last couple of places that I have handled the watch between last night and this morning and... :shock: ...it is gone! I have sent a kind note to David hoping for the best. Thanks to everyone else for the ideas on replacement. I did find out, thanks to a metalurgical lab in my work location, that titanium is, in fact, stronger than steel (both tinsile and rockwell hardness). The met lab supervisor asked why I asked...and I told him only curiousity. LOL
The watch will have to go on injured reserve because the crown guard moving up and down will just result in the bottom screw falling out. What superb timing, considering I JUST got my Heroic18 buckle the night before the cg screw disapeared. Anyway, thanks to all for trying to help.
