U2 Solebox questions

I have some questions for all the Sinnophiles out there. I want to get my meathooks into the solebox and I wanted to see from current members how they are holding up. Any wear on the bracelet from desk rub? It seems as if all the reps are coming from the factory 'waterproofed to 30m'. Is this the case? Not going to be surfing with it, just the pool and shower. Looks like I'll be doing timeshops.net, any other suggestions? Thanks in advance

My U1 rubber strap has got some really minor scratches on the clasp from wearing it pretty much daily for a couple of months - not a problem at all. Not sure about waterproofing; make sure to test it for us once you get the watch

There's a lot of marketing crap from the TD's you'll learn not to pay any attention to, like "waterproof to 30m", "identical to the gen", etc.

This is my Solebox from PureTime. I got it for Christmas and have worn it every day since. I love the way it looks. I wasn't sure how the strap would feel, but it really is one of the most comfortable straps I have worn. I wouldn't be brave enough to wear it in the pool or shower, though. The strap is showing minor wear and I can see how it might not hold up for very long...I ordered a green NATO strap like the one in the original post, so I will take some pics when it comes in. Go for it. You will be glad you did.
