Funny thing about the UBoat watch. I tried on a few gens at the Torneau and the staff all poo pooed the watch, saying it was way over priced, faddish, and not as good quality as other big watches priced in the same range. Keeping in mind many of these sales people are just that, I found it telling that so many of them had the same bad impression. They sure did talk me out of a rep, but I did want one when they first came out. I think some watches have a short term fascination , while others like Panerai, Breitling, Rolex, Omega, and Cartier are a life long love affair. UBoat, Graham, B&R, I think are more like 'one night stand' watches. This is a subject for another post perhaps....I think it important to mention that at this moment there are two dogs asleep in
my over sized bed. (My wife left me but the dogs are nice company) Anyway , one of them, or maybe both farted, and evryone should take note that despite the fumes, they are still welcome.
I think it was the great dane puppy. The chow is here more often and seems to keep a tight sphincter.
