So a customer got in touch about a strap they needed redone. The original had just deformed in such a way that it was basically unusable, and looked a mess! I basically went with a similar style, but made it look better in my opinion.
The leather used is from Horween. It starts out chromium tanned, then bark retanned for some structure. Once dried, it is then hot stuffed with the tannery's proprietary blend of waxes, greases, and oils. In other words, the leather is water proof. I've swam in salt water on my personal watch, and it's still as nice as the day I put it on.
The hole will be custom punched to his wrist.
