TWP Chopard GMT Chrono Compare with Gen

Hello all,

I have posted pictures of the watch in the dealer review section. I thought this would be the best spot to post a quick duo compare shot. I have/had hopes of doing a review similar to the MB Timewalker [smilie=notworthy.gif] but that may not happen.

I searched around and found a posted picture of a Gen on timezone and then did some (obviously) hacking in PSP. I thought people might be interested in how close the rep is to the Gen. Pictures speak louder than words...

The date font is off and the pushers are a little small (this is more an effect of the picture, the more I look at it) - but everything else shows very well. This really is a superb watch.

Your review was the best I have seen - I thought the circles showed perfectly how the subs matched up. Hope you don't mind My goal was to replicate your review of the MB for the Chopard - just trying to find the time...

Of course I don't mind, I wasn't being serious there. I just think the circle thing (if you have the watch in both pictures in almost exactly the same position) a very good way to compare subdial placement. So It's great to see others using them as well! Glad you liked my review!

And of course, it's not like I invented it... it has been used in photographs for years to show many things, so it would be really dumb to pretend I was smart for using it.

Seeing reps like this pisses me off. REALLY pisses me off! This watch is virtually perfect compared to the gen. How come we have to settle for shitty subs and other watches with huge flaws when we know they can replicate watches that are virtually indistinguishable from the gen.

It's almost like they're purposely leaving room for improvements, so they can keep doling out "better" versions :wink:
