Guys,

I have two PAMs, a 177 and a 785.

The both have the same movement - 6497 - but both feel very different when I wind them.

The 785 feels very easy to wind making a higher pitch clicking when winding. The 177 feels tighter on the finger to wind and makes a lower pitched clicking.

Should I be worried? Do movements feel that different from one watch to another?

As these are movements made by factories with little to non-existent quality control, the performance would vary wildly from movement to movement. Are the resulting power reserves significantly different? If they aren't, it's probably just how the movements were assembled. If they vary significantly, you might want to get the movement with the shorter power reserve checked by a rep friendly watchsmith.

Thank you.
I did a quick comparison fully winding the two watches.
The tighter of the two - the 177 - ran for an hour longer than the 785 at 56 hours... Which sounds pretty good to me!?

The 6497 is like a tank. I would not worried about that.
