Fresh back from Domi, with some CG tweaking and messing from me, my PAM 199 and PAM063! :)

First up is the old school 063 with ETA 2893 movement (Taka DW), DSN crystal, original dial refinished and lumed by Domi (fantastic work), T48 crown and a tweaked H or noob CG

Worn on what I believe to be a genuine OEM Panerai croc strap (with circular cutouts, not oval?), with rep thumbnail buckle :)

The PAM 199 is the ultimate edition, freshly serviced by Domi, with his sweet CP mod! Ultimate crystal with updated AR, refinished dial, EL crown and T48 crown

Worn on a beautifully textured Great White shark skin strap and 24mm rep Panerai brushed buckle :)

Two lovely pieces, big thanks to Domi for all his fine work, his efforts with the 199 CP and the 063 dial are second to none, brilliant!

Comments and observations welcome! :)

Thanks ariffza!

The 063 is an old school model I picked up from RWG a while back, unavailable now, I have upgraded and tweaked it, stock condition they were not that accurate, but had a great dial and a genuine ETA 2893 movement :)

Sorry for the thread resurrection, was wondering what the going rate for an ETA2893 PAM063 was now? They don't come up for sale often, and I am thinking of selling her :)

Any thoughts or ideas would be most welcome, need a price check before deciding to take the plunge or not :)

Great pair of watches, your 199 inspired my build featured six threads down here today.

Cant help on the valuation, beautiful old school custom builds never seem to attain their true value and worth in the modern world of 243s and 390s :)

Yeah, they never command the full investment made, but still, I guess there is still no decent PAM063 being repped? Still on the fence if to sell it or not, but I find myself wearing other watches more often......

The watches you mention aren't quite the same, my PAM063 has the same movement as gen and uses a center seconds hand :)

Hey Mickey, I wasn't suggesting your beautiful old school custom 063 is anything like the same as the 390 and 243.

I was making the point that there are not as many modders and collectors of such 'old school' models entering the hobby these days, because they can buy such super reps as the 243 and 390 off the shelf.

Let alone GMTs like the latest 088, 089 and 297.

I am with you, the only OOB Pam I have is the latest 088 'o' series from Noob, other wise they are all custom built etc.

If I had not bought my 088 this past month, you would have had PMs from me pestering you already, its a cracking piece.

+1 on custom built PAMs

More fun and definitely more value and satisfaction! :D

Kudos to the old school builds! The 063 is a true challenge from the movement thickness and crown alignment, the build is not for the feint hearted.

Not a tough crowd here, but few appreciate this build.
