Misaligned Markers? Not lining up with the Indices? No worries. Easy fix. Takes 5 minutes.

1. Tape up your case.
2. Get a couple of exacto blades and a bench knife.
3. work around the four lugs, start with one blade, lift. Add another blade, repeat. Use the bench knife once you get a good clearance. Boom Pops right off.

Don't worry, it's a friction fit cap. I will go back on tight!

If you have a misaligned marker continue to 4. If not, go right to 5 to realign the bezel assembly.

4. Bust off that super glue and unscrew your misaligned bezel marker. Fix it, tighten back up and put on a dab of glue. Done.

5. Remove the tape and line up the 6 and 30, look at 12, see if you like it snap it back on. Done!

Tested and confirmed on V1 and V2 Noob factory. Edit..Zocker says the H Factory model is not the same construction so proceed with caution.

Enjoy > Profit.

R2D2: thanks very much for that. I got my 243 last week from Puretime, and the bezel isn't quite aligned correctly. I don't fault Puretime: they sent me the QC pics and I OKed it, so it is my issue. Now, with your help, I can make it perfect. That's a good thing because it does bug me..... What a watch though.

Nice Tutorial R2D4 :)

But i must Correct you in the thing with the H-Factory!
You can´t Correct the H-Factory! That is the Biggest problem on the H-Factory PAM243

I had all PAM243 here on my Desk ;)

Noob V1, V2 the V1 Mix Model (Half v2)
H-Factory
next Week i get the v3 then i can say something to the v3 too ;) but i think the v3 is exactly same as v1 and v2

So if there is an Scratch on your Bezel i do your Steps everytime.

You can Screw off all the Marker, if they are all off.
All you must do is Sanding the Bezel and the Scratches are gone ;)
After that you can readd the Markers in Line and all is fine.

But if you Pop off the H-Factory Bezel you will see that it is one Complete Bezel!

You will notice that the H-Factory Bezel didn´t Pop off that way as your Noob v1,v2

The Noob you can easely Pop off same procedur as an Rolex. You showed on your Pics ;)

I would prefer to Pop off the Bezel on @7 there i have found out is the best Point. (same as Rolex)

Anyway... If you have Pop off the H-Factory Bezel you will see there are no Screws or anything of that, only the tooth that makes the 120 Clicks.
It looks like an Rolex Bezel...

If i find the Pics i will add it here...

So that´s the Point why you wouldn´t find any H-Factory Marker Missangled... If you see that on the QC Pics of your TDs! Don´t take it!

So Thumbs up... for the nice Tutorial!

Today, I fixed my 305 mis-aligned markers.

Looked like this at Mid-day

So, no, following above, I popped off the bezel (dropped the watched and marked the CG, but then that's what it's for lol)

oops, no screws! No problem, drilled the bezel from the rear

I marked the rear of the 45 marker with a Sharpy, and drilled very gently. If you do this, go slow and careful, the marker will pop out once through the bezel, and if you're not careful, you'll spend half an hour on the garage floor looking for it, doh!

Make sure you clean every scrap of glue and swarf from the hole and the rear of the marker, push the marker home in the correct position, superglue the rear, and re-fit. If your bezels a bit lose, you can tweek the springs at the same time to tighten it up a little

Just to to be clear, this is the first time I've ever tried to mod any watch, I know I still have to re-fill the marker with ink, but I'm pretty pleased I turned a watch that just didn't look correct, that I picked up cheaply and took a risk with, into a good daily beater, in about 3hrs??
